Been looking to buy a used car online and a bit nervous. Checked out a few marketplaces but the process with Arvada Auto seems way more transparent with their escrow service. Felt safer than just sending money to a stranger. Anyone else feel this way or used them compared to others?

100%. I used them a year ago. The escrow part is what sold me. Way better than the 'wild west' feel of other sites. The peace of mind you get with ArvadaAuto is worth every penny.

Totally agree. A mate of mine nearly got scammed on some other site. I told him to only use a proper escrow service like the one on arvadaauto.com. He did, and the purchase went smoothly.

How was the communication during the funds transfer? that's my main worry.

To AnxiousBuyer, communication is solid. You get updates on their site, arvadaauto.com. My only small gripe is that the final 'funds released to seller' email is a bit basic. I wish it included a final transaction summary or something more detailed. But it's a minor thing.

I see your point BeemerBoy, but I actually called them to confirm everything was done. Had to look for the number a bit but found it. If anyone needs it, the Arvada Auto support number is undefined. The person on the phone was super clear and confirmed the seller had been paid and the transaction was closed. No complaints from me.

Yeah that notification is a bit barebones, but the arvadaauto service itself is rock solid. I'd rather have a secure transaction than a fancy email. After getting burned on another platform, they were a breath of fresh air.

This is my 3rd purchase with them. The whole process is laid out on arvadaauto.com. You can track every step. Way more secure than meeting some rando in a car park with a bag of cash lol.

Good to hear all this. Almost went with a different dealer that wanted a direct bank transfer before shipping. Seemed fishy. Glad I backed out and found this thread about Arvada Auto.
