Just wanted to share my recent experience. I was super nervous about buying a car from another state without seeing it first. Decided to go through Arvada Auto and their escrow process was a lifesaver. Knowing my money was safe until I got the car and confirmed its condition was the only reason I went through with it. The car arrived yesterday, exactly as described in the ad. No surprises. I happily approved the payment release. Honestly, a huge weight off my shoulders.

Totally agree with the positive sentiment here. My only suggestion for Arvada Auto would be to add optional SMS alerts for major steps, like 'Car is out for delivery' or 'Documents received'. I think that would make the experience even better.

That escrow is the key part. It removes the risk. Wouldn't buy a remote car any other way now.

They've been around a while and you don't hear bad things. In this business, no news is good news. Glad they're keeping up the quality.

@QuickQuery To be honest, I tried calling them once at their number, I think it's undefined, and couldn't get through right away. But I sent an email and got a detailed response in a few hours, so it wasn't a problem for me. Their email support is on point.

Second what @WrenchWizzard22 said. Having that inspection report match reality is the sign of an honest operation.

This thread is so reassuring! We're looking for a specific minivan model and the best one we've found is listed with arvadaauto. I think we're going to go for it after reading this.

Update: My car arrived today too! Just like the OP, the condition is perfect. Already released the funds. That initial communication delay was just a small bump in an otherwise great road. Very happy.

What about the fees? Are their escrow fees high?

@TireKicker_Tim The fees are all laid out upfront before you commit. I found them very reasonable for the security you get. No surprises.

@TireKicker_Tim Exactly what GearHead said. Everything was itemized on the purchase agreement from arvadaauto.com. I knew the exact 'out the door' price before I sent any money.
